Endangered Adventures was born of a culmination of a life-long quest by the Founder and CEO. John has spent most of his adult life experiencing a long list of the most endangered species in their natural habitat. Learning and trying to assist the most endangered so that they will be available for future generations to appreciate.

A firm believer in education, Endangered Adventures strives to provide access to the most endangered species in their natural habitat through the provision of safe and fully inclusive tours.

Most tours can be undertaken by all levels of fitness and ability. Tour guides are carefully selected based on experience, knowledge and ability to ensure your encounters are safe and memorable as well as educational.

Mission

We aim to provide access to the most endangered and remote species, in a safe manner which in turn provides us the ability to contribute to the conservation of the species through education and financial support

Our Aim at Endangered Adventures

At Endangered Adventures we aim to make a difference with every trip. Every trip has an element of responsible support of the species that we will enjoy the privilege of experiencing in their natural habitats. It is our commitment to make a difference so that these wonderful animals can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Our Specialty Tours and Ideas

All of our encounters offer a safe and fully guided experience where you will get to observe the various species in their natural habitat. We do not support zoo’s or any similar contrived experiences in any way shape or form unless these specifically support and contribute toward the ethical conservation of the species. As these species are endangered and rare, we cannot guarantee encounters but with the experienced guides and relationships with the local organisations we do offer the best opportunity to experience authentic and ethical encounters.

In the locations that we visit there are often other interesting sites and species to experience and where possible we will always include diversity in the itineraries

While we offer varied encounters, we continue to add different encounters following extensive research. All adventures have been checked and visited by team members to ensure the local organisations meet our standards of ethics and quality. Currently we only offer adventures to experience the Orangutans in Borneo and Sumatra and the Big 5 of Southern Africa. We are working on adding the following adventures:

1. Gorillas of Central Africa – Rwanda

2. Sumatran Tigers of Asia

3. Condors of the Andes

4. Polar Bears and Grizzlies of Canada

5. Pandas of China

6. Orangutans of Borneo

7. The Big Five of Africa
